Skid Steer

Me: Do you know what I think we need?
Brenden: What?
Me: I think we need a skid steer.
Brenden: (with a shocked, thrilled, huge grin) REALLY?
Me: (confused at the glee) Yeah...?
Brenden:  Well, you have to ask Jesus for that.
Me: Huh?  Oh... No... not a SISTER, a skid steer!

Brenden has been asking for a sister since January.  Poor kid...

You are the mom of a little boy and you don't know the names of every construction truck on the road? It is like a little loader, usually with a scoop on the front. I would come in very handy for scooping snow. It is pronounced skid "stir," so it sounds more like sister when you say it like that. Doug's dad has one that the boys really love to drive.

I didn't know what one was either! My poor little boy needs to hang out with your fam...because you need one more boy about that age running around. Love the enduring post. I'm glad you fought for that cast--it was the right thing to do, as are the store bought cookies :)

haha I am sure I will be learning truck names soon enough...Kaden isn't even 2 yet. :) He is more into basketball and soccer right now. :) A skid steer sounds like fun, though!

Don't do it! Sorry, I am in one of those NO MORE KIDS(even if I am Mormon) moods, like all of the time.
