Sold!

We signed our closing papers today at 6:00.  They will be recorded tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. and we will officially own a house.  The previous owners are still packing, so they have the house until Friday.  The movers don't deliver on Saturday, so we will move in on Monday.  I am so excited!  It would be nice to paint before all of the stuff is in the house, but hard to match colors until the stuff is in the house.  Besides that, our painting stuff is in the truck.

The bishop, hearing we had one more lazy weekend asked us to speak.  We don't even have any scriptures with us!  (Terrible Mormons, I know!)  He provided a set and told us too bad, no excuses.

I also just wanted to share this way cute picture.

Looks like you are having a fun time. We are trying to decide when to come see you guys. I told Landon we should before we have to pay for Jaron to fly!!

Wow! Those mosquitos must be HUNGRY! Either that or your kids are tasty :-) I don't think I would last there. I'm glad to see you guys are having fun! I think it's neat to know someone who lives in Alaska!

Doug -- This is Matt Klingler. I just happened into your blog. That is awesome you moved to Alaska. My sister is living in Kodiak and they love it. I'm trying to plan a bear hunt there for next year and then do some fishing. I was up in Valdez and Anchorage last year and I loved it. I don't think I could talk Genie into moving there though. If I come next year for bear I'll have to look you up, or you ought to come hunt one with me. Good to see you are doing well. Feel free to e-mail me at mklingler@spillman.com

Matt, the convincing is relatively easy. Just remind Genie how much she likes (hopefully) fresh salmon or halibut, that's what worked for me.
